Robert-Jean Chapuis is a French photographer, sculptor and designer from Lyon born in 1929.

During the 1960s and 1970s, he worked at l'Officiel de la mode and his photographs, with their rigorous style and inventive framing, contributed to creating the aesthetics of the Sixties. Many of them are icons that marked their generation.

Robert-Jean Chapuis was also the author of numerous advertising campaigns, notably for perfumes and cosmetics. His style is always easily recognizable, always with purity of line and perfect construction.
