Dedicated to Mr. N. Rondot. Cyr-François-Natalis Rondot, born March 23, 1821 in Saint-Quentin and died August 26, 1900 (aged 79) in Lyon, is a French economist and art historian, numismatist, in charge of several official missions to abroad, attached to the Chinese Embassy. He studied art and artists from the 12th to the 17th century, including painters, glass painters, engravers, goldsmiths, medal founders, ceramists, earthenware makers, potters, bookbinders, printers.
